The Driver Safety Program at Waubonsee Community College has added St. Charles East High School to its list of sites hosting the college's defensive driving courses, making it even more convenient for area residents to attend a class.
The Waubonsee program had already offered classes at 10 other sites, including all four Waubonsee campuses in Sugar Grove, Plano, downtown Aurora and the Copley campus on Aurora's East Side, as well as sites in Elgin and in DeKalb County.
The St. Charles East High School site will host Waubonsee's four-hour Defensive Driving Course and its highly interactive four-hour Alive at 25 program designed for less experienced drivers under the age of 25.
The courses are designed and the sites chosen to better serve those in the court systems in Illinois' 16th Judicial Circuit, which includes Kane County, and the 23rd Judicial Circuit, which includes DeKalb and Kendall counties.
