A number of Waubonsee Community College students were recently inducted into the local chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma, an international honor society established to recognize outstanding business students.
In all, 31 Waubonsee students were inducted to the society’s Iota Nu Chapter during a ceremony on Dec. 4.
Students inducted at that time include: Maria Aguirre, Amanda Bartle, Alberto Briones, Halley Doss, Josue Esparza, Lois Lee, Samuel Nunez-Vera II, Sharea Rhodes and Jason Rugg, all of Aurora; Eva Bensinger, Gabriela Bottger, Jena Buss, Daniel Klug and Ryan Moulding, all of Oswego; Lauren Allen and James Boyle, of Sugar Grove; Emily Kasper, Fabian Lara, Scott Thompson and Carsten Wieske, of Batavia; Jacob Chally and Bradley Reedy, of Geneva; Jorgette Hernandez and Michelle Murray, of Yorkville; Jared Carreno, of Plano; Vernon Gochee, of Maple Park; Dominic Gryz, of Bolingbrook; Scott Horvath, of Elburn; Christina Houghtaling, of Montgomery; Susan Lebold, of Lisle; and Jason Manivong, of North Aurora.
Jennifer Rice, owner of the Fox Valley Labor News and Waubonsee’s featured alumna for October 2013, was the featured speaker at the induction ceremony.
