The repair work on the broken water main on the Sugar Grove Campus is complete and the campus has passed all safety inspections. The college will resume classes and all other normal operations in Sugar Grove on Thursday, Dec. 14. Students, faculty, and staff are to proceed with final examinations and any other remaining coursework as planned.
Due to the water disruption, a boil order will be in effect on the Sugar Grove Campus until further notice. Individuals will not be able to get drinking water from fountains or sinks. The café in the Student Center is expected to be open for regular operating hours, though with some limitations. Bottled water will be available for purchase.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while crews from Campus Operations, the contracted repair company, and the Sugar Grove Fire Department among others have worked diligently to repair the break and get the college back to its mission of teaching.
