Power Restored to Waubonsee’s Sugar Grove Campus; Normal Operations Resume on Feb. 28

Sugar Grove – On Tuesday, Feb. 27 after 7 p.m., a heavy storm hit the Sugar Grove Campus, causing a power outage across campus and other damage.

“The extent of the damage is still being assessed. Trees are down and glass on one exterior door was shattered, but no injuries have been reported,” said Stephanie Wennmacher, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications. “Power was restored to the Sugar Grove Campus at 1:20 a.m. early Wednesday morning.” 

Waubonsee’s four campuses will resume normal operations on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
