The Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees appointed Suzette Murray, of Naperville, to the position of Assistant Vice President of Career and Technical Education at their meeting Dec. 18.
Murray has served in higher education for two decades, including 10 years at Waubonsee. Since 2004, Murray has served as Dean for Business and Career Technologies at the college.
Before coming to Waubonsee, Murray served as Director and Assistant Director of the weekend MBA Program at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
Murray holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in industrial organizational psychology from DePaul University, Chicago. She has also completed the coursework for a doctorate in community college leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
