Learn about the science behind dating and relationships as part of Waubonsee Community College’s ongoing Community Education series, “Asset Earth.” At 7 p.m. on Nov. 12, Waubonsee biology instructor Justin Hoshaw presents “What Science Can Teach You About Dating, Love and Sex (That Sex Ed Didn’t).”

The event takes place at the Sugar Grove Campus Auditorium, Route 47 and Waubonsee Drive. Hoshaw will share science-based advice for the first date and beyond. The event will cover topics ranging from where to ask someone out, to how to find “the one.” For those already in a relationship, Hoshaw will offer tips on how to maximize happiness and sex life.

Asset Earth is a series of presentations by experts on current scientific thought and events. The topics and speakers are selected to present ideas and concepts about our planet in an entertaining manner.

The event is free and open the public, but reservations are requested.
