Chiefs' Kempiak Named Region IV Player of the Week

Kempiak posts another double-double on the way to being honored by Region IV Basketball Committee

Mo Kempiak was selected as the Region IV Division II Player of the Week for last week. The 5’11" center tallied 18 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, made three steals, blocked three shots and handed out two assists in the Chiefs’ victory at Sauk Valley. It was Kempiak’s eighth double-double this season, and 25^th in the last 27 games over the last year. On the season the Serena High School graduate is averaging 14.2 points and 13.4 rebounds per game, placing her fifth among all NJCAA Division II players.
