Dr. Aaron Lawler, Assistant Professor of Humanities, has been selected as Waubonsee’s 2020 Outstanding Faculty Member.

With the need for contact tracers expected to increase for the foreseeable future, Waubonsee Community College is now offering a Public Health Contact Tracing Program.

As we begin our summer season, we can all agree that so far, 2020 has been an unimaginable year. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected everything we do as individuals and as a community over just a few months. Now, in the past couple of weeks, we are experiencing another significant upheaval in response to the video and death of George Floyd.

Waubonsee Community College will provide new experiences for this year’s graduating class.

Waubonsee Community College announces its 2020 Distinguished Contributor and Distinguished Alumnus. Mr. Angelo Kleronomos is this year’s Distinguished Contributor. Ms. Mary Ellen Thielemann is this year’s Distinguished Alumnus.

The month of May is a wonderful time for many college students. Graduates feel a sense of elation as they move on to the next phase of their academic or career journeys and other students enjoy a sense of accomplishment for all they have done in the year. We celebrate with all of those students.

All of Waubonsee Community College’s summer classes will be conducted online and through alternative delivery methods.

Unprecedented. I feel like almost everything I read anymore has this word somewhere in the first sentence. It’s true. These are unprecedented times for all of us. At Waubonsee Community College we’re very aware of the struggle, not just for us as employees, but especially for our students. In Student Development we are working hard to make sure we can maintain the services students need and want to be successful.
