Student Trustee Thankful for Experiences, Excited for the Future

As the days until the Waubonsee commencement ceremony dwindle down, I catch myself looking back at how quickly my two years at the college have flown by. One minute I am sitting on the couch working my way through the college’s Electronic Registration and Planning (E-RAP) tutorial, and the next I am writing my graduation speech and figuring out what shoes will look best with my graduation dress.

The Waubonsee Community College Foundation is offering scholarships to students enrolling in a variety of career education programs during the upcoming 2014-2015 academic year. The application deadline is Friday, June 27.

Waubonsee Offers Career Bridge Program to GED Students

Thanks to a bridge program at Waubonsee, students can prepare for their GED test and/or improve their basic academic skills while also training for a career in health care or manufacturing. Classes start May 27.
