This course introduces the development of programming logic and algorithms using structured program design techniques. Students solve problems using decision and loop structures, learn modularization principles, analyze, and implement data structures such as arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues and binary trees. This course applies Object Oriented Principles and students develop logic in pseudocode, flowcharts and Unified Modeling Language (UML). Students will also create and use source control repositories, create and use unit tests and explore debugging techniques. Recommended Coreq, CIS115
