Hello,

I'm Dr. Nour Al Naber, and I'm delighted to be an Instructor of Business at Waubonsee Community College. Born in Jordan with a rich heritage that blends Jordanian and Greek cultures, I've been calling Mokena, IL, home since 2005, where I live with my wonderful family.

My academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Philadelphia University in Amman, Jordan, followed by a Master’s in Business Administration and a certificate in Leadership and Organizational Development from Governors State University, IL. In May 2022, I earned my doctoral degree in Leadership from the University of St. Francis.

With a diverse career that spans finance, accounting, sales/marketing, and management, I've also co-founded businesses in Chicago and devised marketing strategies for local enterprises, harnessing the power of social media. My teaching journey has taken me to institutions like Joliet Junior College, North Park University, and now, Waubonsee.

I am passionate about preparing students for the workplace and bringing my expertise in International Relations into the classroom. I emphasize the importance of understanding cultural behaviors in business and assisting students in developing targeted marketing strategies.

At Waubonsee, I find joy in every aspect of my role. The interaction with our wonderful staff and students is what motivates me every day. I'm here to help and support you, so please don't hesitate to reach out.

I’m one of the faculty advisors for the Waubonsee Community College Business Club, and I’d love to share what makes our club special. We’re a welcoming, professional-style organization focused on helping students become innovative thinkers and confident leaders—no matter what their major or background may be. Whether you’re studying business or just curious about gaining skills that will benefit you in any career, we’d be excited to have you join us.

In the Business Club, you’ll have the chance to connect with peers and network with professionals. We regularly invite guest speakers and industry experts to share their experiences and insights, giving you a real-world perspective on the business world. Students lead the club and offer opportunities to learn and grow. We meet every other Thursday during the fall and spring semesters, with additional meetings when needed to support our projects.
