The opportunities offered to businesses of all sizes in today's digital world are boundless.

But the key to conquering social media, search engines and other forms of digital communication is a well-crafted plan.

On Friday, Feb. 21, Waubonsee Community College's Workforce Development Department will host the Fox Valley Internet Marketing Summit, a full-day session designed to offer businesses the help they need to not only understand marketing in a digital age, but to master it.

The Summit will run Feb. 21 from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Waubonsee's downtown Aurora Campus, 18 S. River Street.

The event will feature presentations from a dozen experts, assembled from a variety of backgrounds, including marketing, writing, journalism, law, social media strategy, public policy and more.

Headlining the presenters is 30-year marketing veteran Brian Basilico, author of It's Not About You, It's About Bacon! Relationship Marketing in a Social Media World!

Presenters will offer insight on relationship marketing, email marketing, Google, social media management and various tools and platforms, including Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, and more. Lunch will be included.
