In this session, you'll learn about the mental health resources available at Waubonsee and discover how peer mentors can provide support, encouragement, and connection throughout your college experience. Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength, and you don't have to navigate college alone.
Student Privacy 101: FERPA & Information Boundaries
As a college student, your educational records are protected by federal law. In this session, you'll learn about FERPA (the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act), what information Waubonsee can and cannot share, who has access to your records, and how you can grant or restrict access when needed. Understanding your rights will help you take ownership of your college experience.
