Formerly known as web development, Waubonsee’s UX (user experience)/UI (user interface) training provides the technical acumen, creative skills and hands-on experience needed to enter this dynamic industry. The program’s combination of practical and professional learning sets a firm foundation for rewarding work in this fast-paced field.
Studying UX/UI
Our computer labs and technology software are state-of-the-art, and our experienced instructors are driven to support students and propel them to success.
The hands-on curriculum includes real-life projects through partnerships with local community organizations: each semester, students develop and build websites that expand their job-related skills and build their portfolio while helping those organizations extend their messages.
A recent example is the Aurora Historical Society.
