Community Education

Community Education offers a variety of courses and programs to meet your lifelong learning needs.

• Personal Enrichment Courses — Ranging in length from one day to a month or two, these courses are a great way to learn a new skill or explore a lfielong passion.
• Trips and Tours — You may not have thought to look to your community college when you're thinking of traveling, but you probably should. Our popular Trips and Tours program offers both day trips to regional attractions as well as longer, extended tours to destinations around the world.
• Lifelong Learning Institute — Individuals ages 55 and older can take advantage of these courses, taught and planned by their peers.
• Special Events — From presentations by the stars of the Discovery Channel to an interactive reptile show, Waubonsee hosts several special events at the Sugar Grove Campus each year, designed to both educate and entertain.
• Youth Programs — Don't let your kids sit and be bored on the weekends or during the summer. Enroll them in one of our exciting programs!
