Waubonsee Community College Athletic Hall of Fame

In conjunction with the school’s 40th anniversary celebration, Waubonsee Community College established an Athletic Hall of Fame. On May 3, 2007, Waubonsee inducted eight former athletes, coaches, and community supporters as the hall’s first class. The ceremony took place during the college’s annual Athletic Banquet. The inaugural class was limited to 1967 to 1976. Subsequent years will be open to Waubonsee administrators, faculty and staff; athletes; coaches; community supporters; and specific teams who are five years removed from their involvement with Waubonsee athletics.
